Like chapter 30 is the last chapter of the book, he is in my opinion one of the most important chapter. Since it's here that we learn that charlie will become the heir of the factory. I think that Mr.Wonka is an extremly good person cause he said to charlie that his whol familly can live with him in the factory. Even if the book is as important as the film, I prefer the film because Mr.Wonka meat again his father and I'm happy for him !
The Chapter 11 is more interesting in the film than in the book because Charlie found the golden ticket. It's touching. And in chapter 11, the shopkeeper is black and kind, it's an important moral lesson against racism. Moreover in the film, the shopkeep is better than in the book because he is more expressive than in the book.
In the chapter 30, I prefer the film because in the film Charlie accepts a day after whereas in the book he accepts quickly but not right away. And what i find most ridiculous about this scene in the film is that Willy Wonka goes out of his factory only when the contest is finished and before he never goes out of his factory, it's ridiculous. Also in this scene, Willy Wonka sees his father again only in the film, it's very touching.
In my mind, the film is faithful to the book in chapter 30. Because, in the film, the end is more elaborate than the book. In the book, it's hasty. And in the film, there also is more suspense than in the book.
In the chapter 11, I prefer the film because we better see the shopkeeper who defends Charlie. We better see Charlie's joy. The shopkeeper is less fat, whereas in the book we imagine him very fat, with a very fat neck, big lips, and fat cheeks.
Chapter 30 : In this scene I prefer the film because we see the father of Willy Wonka. We see the lift's trip and in the end we see the new elements in Charlie's house. We saw the suprise of Charlie's mother when the lift broke the roof of the little wooden house. In the end of the film, Charlie become friend, team-mate with Willy Wonka.
